David Armario Design has created award winning editorial design for many publications. Serving a variety of clients, large and small, we have created original publication designs, redesigns of existing publications, and publication prototypes.
David Armario Design philosophy towards all publication design and redesigns is to be “visual journalists”. Creative design and art direction is nothing without the awareness that for a publication’s identity to truly be successful the creative team must not only think of the visual type display and image aesthetic but how the design components must support the overall editorial message.
To accomplish this it is critical for our team to work in a collaborative way with the editors and art/design staff of the publication.
Collaboration translates into a partnership and encourages team work, successful image making and the overall display of all visual content effectively creating a magazine that readers want to read.
